Private tuition can help a struggling child immensely and push an average student to be an excellent one.
Tutoring can be arranged to take place in your home, in your tutors home, or in another place such a library near to home. We ask that an adult is present during tutoring and that there is a adequate desk or work area for tutor and student to work.
Materials - i.e. textbooks, notepads etc should be provided by yourself. Your tutor will advise you on what text books to buy and provide before or in the first lesson.
Both our Revision courses and Private tuition follow the national curriculum:

Key Stage 2: 11 year olds cover English, Maths and Science and have tests mid May. Private tutoring can cover tests, focusing, studying and help children to learn basic test skills.
Key Stage 3: From ages 11 to 14 students cover a broader range of subjects now including foreign languages, Art, History and Geography. These tests are of particular importance as schools use as a basis to put children into sets for GCSE. |
