Booking
Please phone (020 7 288 6291) or email us (info@winchmoretutors.com) to book lessons.
We will contact you within 24 hours where we will then arrange a first lesson at a date at a time suitable to you. We will give you the name and contact number of the tutor and follow up with a confirmation email of this information.
If you need a private tutor urgently please phone us and we shall endeavor to place a tutor with you asap.
- If you have any special requirements for your child please let us know.
- We try to match your needs to an appropriate tutor. Please allow enough time for a student to settle with a tutor, if there is a clash in personality or teaching style please do not hesitate to contact us.
Location
Winchmore tutors operate in around London. We cover North, East, South, West London and the surrounding suburbs.
Payments
Tutors should collect the full amount for the lesson taught at the end of the lesson. In general tutors will accept personal cheque, cash or bank transfers. Tutors will then forward any necessary fees to Winchmore Tutors, the agency.
Student Safety
A Tutor cannot be held responsible for chaperoning minors, nor guarding a house or household effects while tutoring. Please ensure that a responsible adult is on the premises at all times.
Lesson Etiquette
Students should act respectfully towards tutors as they would their school teachers. Mobile phones, radios, TV's etc should be switched off during lessons.
A clear area for lessons should be prepared before lessons and a suitable desk and chairs should be provided.
Lesson changes/cancellations
Please contact your Tutor directly when you need to cancel a lesson, especially during the usual holiday periods, giving a minimum of 24 hours' notice (except in unforeseeable situations). Cancellations without 24 hours notice will be charged at the one-hour rate of that tutor. A tutor maybe able to change a lesson to a more suitable time/day with no additional cost.
