Tutors must be proficient, experienced and
have at least a degree in the subject or a relevant teaching
qualification that they want to teach with us. Over 75% of
our tutors are qualified teachers. We only send qualified
teachers on primary assignments.
Checks
We confirm the following references before taking on new tutors; one academic reference; one professional reference from their current job, and a CRB check. Copies of references and CRB checks are available on request.
-
Academic reference:
Confirming qualifications held.
Degrees must be from a credible red brick university
or a teaching qualification must be held (PGCE etc)
-
CRB checks :
The CRB’s aim is to help organisations in the public, private and voluntary sectors by identifying candidates who may be unsuitable to work with children or other vulnerable members of society. We perform a CRB checks on ALL our tutors.

Matching a students needs
We try to match a students needs to a capable private tutor. This means finding the best tutor for your child, not just finding the tutor closest to your home.
Flexibility
Tutors can be as flexible as you want them to be. This may mean booking lessons on a regular basis or lessons intensively during half- term. We do not have a minimum hours per week per student. However your tutor can advise you on how many lessons are necessary to achieve the best results.
Interviews
We conduct face to face interviews with all
our tutors at our office in Islington. This helps us to get to know the tutor personally.
Feedback and Training
We request feedback from clients and only
continue to work with tutors with positive feedback.
We also ask tutors to attend a compulsory
training session.
