Tuition for pupils with additional learning needs

Winchmore Tutors Ltd is a specialist education recruitment agency currently providing over 100 primary and secondary schools across London and the South-East with DfE standard qualified tutors. We can provide tutors for the one-to-one initiative, for additional learning, intervention work and general catch up classes. Tutors are also available to work with gifted and talented students.

Within the one-to-one initiative we have been providing schools in pilot authorities with tutors on the 'Making Good Progress' scheme since 2008. In addition to schools, we currently work with 20 Looked After Children teams providing tuition to over 400 young people within the care system.

We are proud to be the first tuition agency to be provided with the DfE one-to-one quality mark. Winchmore tutors has a team of special needs tutors that have the experience and qualifications to design be-spoke tuition for pupils with a variety of needs.

Our tutors have worked in schools around the UK as well as home settings and have worked with SENCOs, Inclusion Managers, Behaviour Support Teams, Disability Teams, EAL Co-ordinators, Outreach Teams, CAMH Teams and parents, as education partners designing tuition appropriate to the needs of the pupil.
